Should school food be changed to what it used to be before Michelle Obama's law was passed?

I'm a junior from a high school by the name Hilliard Bradley and I have to say that all my friends and I personally don't like how Michelle Obama has changed our food choices. One of the things students from Hilliard mainly miss from lunch was the curly fries. They didn't just look good but also had a mouth watering taste unlike the new ones that were adopted during the school year 2012-2013. The ones that replaced them are the old and boring McDonald's style fries but with no flavor what’s so ever. They're most likely sent in packages that come in frozen from a company making them the least wanted thing on the schools menu on this very day although students still get them because it’s better to have something than nothing else to mix with your lunch even though half the students i know think they're not even made from real potatoes in the first place. The school fries aren't the only thing that bothers most students though. Soft drinks are now only sold if they are diet which is a bad thing for many reasons. One of those reasons is because it’s known for kick starting kidney problems to adding inches to your waistline. Many people thing drinking diet soda is plain out healthy for you because it has a big “DIET” sign right by the name of the drink but if you were to ask me “What should we do with these drinks?” then I would tell you with no hesitation “I think we should ban them from this school or any other school in which the students don’t want short or long term side effects for the great or good of the health of students that will one day be running this country.” Some people don’t believe in these side effects but research also shows that just because diet soda has no calories, fat, or sugar; it doesn’t mean that it’s healthy for you because believe it or not, it contains synthetic chemicals and no protein as shown on the webpage below.
